Like static control carpet, the walking body voltage properties of ESD rubber floors are low, so a rubber floor covering that measures in the dissipative range can be every bit as effective at controlling static as an extremely conductive vinyl. Additionally, ESD rubber flooring, viewed by experts as a highly desirable walking surface, not only performs with grounded footwear, but is highly effective at preventing static in areas where grounded footwear is not or cannot be used. Places such as command centers, computer labs and flight towers where unfettered mobility is as important as controlling static buildup. StaticSmart ESD rubber flooring is also available for use with access floors and is perfect for hospitals, biomed facilities, munitions processing areas, universities, schools and cleanrooms.

Extremely Tough, High Performance ESD Flooring
Our static control rubber flooring is tough, REALLY TOUGH. Resistant to chemicals, solder burns, resists soiling and staining, and it can handle extremely heavy equipment loads, heavy foot traffic and abuse by chair casters. But it has a softer side as well: comfortable to stand on and has excellent sound absorption qualities making it very easy to live with. StaticSmart ESD Rubber flooring and bench mats also provide far superior static control than either vinyl or linoleum floor coverings. It's the smart choice in resilient flooring.
Easy to Clean and Maintain
StaticSmart static control Rubber, which is less porous than ESD vinyl, is also easier to clean, wash and maintain. There is no waxing or coating required with our esd rubber flooring, no stripping or rewaxing. Our static control rubber flooring can be washed with neutral cleaners mixed with water. Periodic dry buffing with a single disc machine is all that is recommended. After a two year study, Lucent Technologies found rubber to be the easiest ESD surface to care for. Low Total Cost of Ownership
Though its installed cost is higher than some other flooring options, the total cost of ownership for static control rubber tile is low because it is durable and inexpensive to maintain, making it a good choice for companies concerned with the long-term implications of their investment.
The conductive version of StaticSmart ESD Rubber tile has carbon contact points commonly associated with ESD vinyl, with the attractive patterns of a more decorative floor tile. StaticSmart ESD rubber holds up better to daily wear than ESD vinyl too, which can become dull and scratched easily. Ergonomically, rubber flooring is a better anti-fatigue floor than either epoxy or vinyl. Like static control carpet, StaticSmart rubber flooring tile dampens noise from rolling carts and automated equipment.

Static generation less is than 10 volts according to ESD STM 97.2 (tested with conductive shoes.) Rhino Rubber ESD Flooring is resistant to most oils and grease, and is also chemical and hot solder resistant. Able to withstand forklift/heavy wheeled traffic up to 850 PSI rolling load, it's perfect for operating rooms.
