StaticSmart Conductive Flooring Safety

***URGENT NOTICE***

To our customers:

Recently there have been a rash of erroneous internet postings, suggesting conductive (2.5 x 104 ohms to 1.0 x 106 ohms) flooring, like StaticSmartTM carpet tile, fails to meet the latest industry specifications for conductivity and further suggesting that it is potentially unsafe for users. These claims are simply untrue and unfounded. Conductive flooring, like StaticSmartTM mission critical and LAN carpet tile, have been in service for many years, providing safe and effective electrostatic discharge protection in manufacturing companies, air traffic control facilities, E911 Dispatch Centers, Computer rooms, data centers, and many other applications throughout North America without incident.

These erroneous postings are in no way supported by fact or data. They appear to be a thinly veiled and desperate attempt by the author to mislead, confuse, and to scare potential customers into believing the only products on the market that meet industry standards for conductivity and safety are those which are distributed by the author of this false information. The fact remains, conductive flooring with an electrical resistance range of 2.5 x 104 ohms to 1.0 x 106 ohms, like StaticSmartTM carpet and vinyl, is designed to meet or exceed all relevant static control flooring standards and requirements, such as; ANSI/ESD S.20.20, Motorola R56, FAA STD 019E, ATIS-0600321.2010 and to provide you with permanent, and safe, static control performance.

For over 35 years, we've grown our business and staked our reputation on providing the highest quality static control flooring products to meet the latest industry standards and the requirements of our clients. Rest assured, StaticSmartTM flooring products are proven safe and they meet current ANSI/ESD S.20.20, Motorola R56, FAA STD 019E, ATIS-0600321.2010.
