StaticSmart Conductive Flooring Adhesive Products
Conductive adhesive, an integral component in your new static control esd floor, provides a path to ground, to safely and effectively discharge static. The conductive adhesive takes the place of the old copper grounding grids beneath the floor.
How the Adhesive Works
Conductive adhesive provides electrical continuity by creating an electrical bond between ESD flooring tiles. So when a person walks across the floor or slides out of a chair, the built up static is discharged to the static control floor. The static charge follows a path from the conductive yarn fibers, through the conductive floor backing material to the adhesive and is effectively discharged to ground.StaticSmart Conductive Adhesives are highly conductive and provide excellent continuity across the entire ESD floor. To meet relevant specifications, the conductive adhesive must be attached with copper strips to some form of ground—e.g. Electrical conduit, building steel or a dedicated grounding strip.

Adhere MC - The Clear Choice. A patented, clear releasable adhesive manufactured with our FibreLink technology to create an electrical ground plane, providing total continuity across the ESD floor. Far superior to expensive conductive "dry adhesive" tapes, messy black adhesives and complex grounding grids, Adhere MC is easy to install, can be walked on immediately and provides unequalled conductive performance. When installed under modular carpet, rubber or vinyl tiles, Adhere MC provides an excellent bond and offers the flexibility of a release adhesive. With Adhere MC, tiles are easily lifted and removed for repair, replacement or reuse, without the need for specialized skills or tools. And, being a CLEAR adhesive, there's no fear of accidentally tracking messy black adhesives over newly installed carpet!

StatBond - This ready-to-use conductive adhesive creates a permanent bond between the undersurface and flooring material. Like Adhere MC, our Statbond adhesive provides a conductive ground plane between the undersurface and conductive floor. Well-suited for use with roll goods or in areas where a permanent bond is preferable or required.

PosiTack- Our toughest adhesive, PosiTack is a two-part epoxy-type conductive adhesive. The chemical reaction between the two parts of the adhesive create a permanent, extremely tough bond. Like our other adhesives, PosiTack offers excellent conductivity across the ESD floor. Recommended for use with vinyl and rubber materials, in heavy load or traffic areas and in other applications that require the strongest adhesive bond.
